Signals XR Lab 2024

Signals XR Lab

Develop your work. Gain mentorship. Bring your work to the public.

The 2024 XR Lab supported eight Indigenous or equity-deserving producers from across Canada and Turtle Island working in XR, video games, immersive installations, and AI.

XR Lab 2024

The 2024 inaugural Signals XR Lab created a unique platform for those dedicated to XR, virtual production, and immersive storytelling, providing them with the necessary structure, tools and support they’d need to innovate, network, and showcase world-class projects from September 27th – October 6th at the 2024 Signals Creative Tech Expo.

We received applications from across Turtle Island, of which six projects from eight talented producers and storytellers were chosen for the 2024 XR Lab.

Over five months this talented crew worked with the Signals Curatorial team and a generous group of mentors to refine and build their projects to premiere at the Signals Creative Tech Expo from September 27 through October 6, 2024.
