Each area of the game is designed to a feedback loop that forms when navigated: a vicious circle embedded in the act of play. The experience is one of racing against the limits of reflex and memory. The inner-world it presents is a combination of concrete poetry and connect-the-dots, depicting mental maps for the player to internalise and escape. Gameplay consists of movement between points connected by lines: each forming a circuit. The players navigate these loops kinetically, racing, gliding, and jumping between each point with increasing intensity.
As momentum builds up the player can break free in search of new maps. The tension between mastering a loop–and staying in its grooves–or breaking free raises questions of how we fall into patterns, and when we choose to break them. As our habits, obsessions, and memories take shape we are in turn shaped by them, and are compelled to relive, revisit, or escape their orbit.
